The 15 Success Principles You’ll Never Want To Forget

The 15 Success Principles You’ll Never Want To Forget

You can’t assure success, but you can increase the chances of it happening. After all, opportunity favors the prepared. With the following 15 success principles, you can dramatically increase the chances of success in your life.

That being said, the picture above was taken during one of our awarding and recognition rally's, As i was reading this article i cant help but  agree to the principles as it was the same principle that we uphold and practice to achieve our goals. From new bloods in this journey to achievers and living testimonies that once you put your mind into something, anything is possible!

So as it has inspired me and thousands of people in GFI let me share these principles with you =)

1 – Prepare

The first success principle is preparation. It’s the foundation of success. With preparation you create your own opportunities. Once you have all the different elements lined up, it only takes a small opening to realize your goal. At the same time, taking advantage of big opportunities without enough preparation means risking your success, as you’re building without a well-laid foundation.

2 – Do something you love

You have to work very hard whatever it is you choose to do. Your work or your project will dominate much of your time and your life. Therefore, find something that you enjoy doing and do that.

3 – Get started

You have to start somewhere. Today is as good a day as any to start. Get into action today and start moving in the direction you want. Putting it off can only lead to failure, whereas if you start and see an early setback, at least you conquered that setback early on.

4 – Move in the right direction

Keep everything moving in the direction you want. It doesn’t matter if things go slowly initially. As long as the overall direction is favorable, you’ll get where you want to go eventually.

5 – Use the power of dreams and your imagination

What you dream and visualize today will become true tomorrow. You just have to work on turning it into reality. Just as your dreams can only influence your life if you let them, the cities you build in your imagination can only become real if you build them.

6 – Think big

If you set your aim a bit too high you might fall short. If you set your aim too low you might achieve your goal… and miss out on the other opportunities. By thinking bigger, the only limit is what is possible. You’re no longer limited by what you think is possible.

7 – Focus on growth

Seemingly impossible challenges are just cleverly disguised opportunities for growth. If you take those challenges and, in solving them, improve yourself, you’ll find yourself continually moving in the right direction.

8 – Maintain your determination

With enough determination, you can succeed through almost any odds. Enough determination means you’ll find a way no matter the situation.

9 – Set a clear vision

Think through where you’ll want to go. Develop a clear sense of what your final goal is, and keep this with you. By knowing the destination you want to reach, you can continually look at your current path and decide if it’s a route that will help you get where you want to go.

10 – Set goals along the way

A final goal isn’t enough. You need intermediate goals that set the path. These goals should be specific, measurable, realistic, attainable, and timely. These intermediate goals define the steps that you need to take to get to the final one.

11 - Work out plans of action for your work

For each goal, it helps to have plans to reach them. Your plan describes how you can reach each step from where you are, or where you will be. Keep in mind that the future is never certain. Things rarely work out exactly how you plan. Therefore, see these plans as showing one or more possible routes, not necessarily the route you’ll end up taking.
Still, knowing the plan means you can avoid long detours that might compromise your chances of reaching a goal on time — or at all.

12 - Commit to taking action

Once you start going, keep going. Never, never, never give up. If you find an obstacle in your way, chip away at it or go around it. The only way to really fail is to give up. If you keep going you’ll succeed. If you hit the limits of what’s possible, you can regroup and find another way.

13 - Use affirmations

Affirmations are just short, positive, and above all direct phrases in present tense. Things like “I’m getting more and more successful.” The idea is that they reinforce a positive world view. With affirmations, you are defining your own reality. By transmitting a positive world view to your mind, it adopts this view. As your mind adopts this view, it helps shape the world around you to fit it, which means it helps make the world around you one that reflects a reality of you getting more successful every day.

14 - Get rid of negative influences

Avoid harmful influences around you that might shake you from your goal. Keep people and ideas around you that support your success and your belief in yourself.

15 - Be grateful and appreciate what you have

The final success principle is to appreciate what you have already. Realize that — by sheer virtue of the fact that you can be reasonably certain you’ll live from one day to the next — you already have enough. Enjoy it! Appreciate what you’ve achieved so far, and see that what you want, where you’re going, is not what you need or what you must do. Rather, these are things and actions that will make your situation even better.

10 Worst People In MLM

           10 Worst People In MLM

I read this article from one of my Facebook Groups recently and i cant help but share it to others in hopes to enlighten some people if not shake and wake them up to the importance of work ethics and proper attitude towards MLM.

First of all, these names
names used here are fictional in nature and are not tied to any specific person. So…if I use a name here and it happens to be your first name and the badness applies to you, then it’s simply coincidental in nature.

Also, this people do not reflect any specific company, rather it reflects specific work ethics and/or attitudes of individuals that are detrimental to any industry.

As a disclaimer that i read in the original article: This post is sure to piss someone off. If it does, then a good idea would be to look in the mirror and ask yourself, “Why does this make me so mad?”

You ready? This is gonna be fun.

#10 Wayne the Whiner: This poor fella is so focused on what’s wrong that he spends more time with tissues than in training. He’s so busy wiping his nose that he just missed out on the person in front of him that said they wanted to join. He’s one of those guys that eventually become a “red button” person on your cell phone. If you don’t get that, look at your cell phone and imagine him calling you. You can push one of two buttons, red or green.

#9 Erin the Exaggerator: Erin makes some money, but far less than she tells everyone. She walks around bragging about how big her volume is and how large her check, only to get caught one day when she forgot to log out of her genealogy report and a friend got a chance to see what she was REALLY making. That friend took a screen shot of her report and posted it up on Facebook for everyone to see. The sad thing is that she actually had a pretty decent check, one that a lot of people would be thrilled to have, so there was no need to exaggerate. Ooops! There went the reputation…and it didn’t even have to go that way.

#8 Dick: This particular person doesn’t need to be called by any other name. He needs no first or last name, it speaks for itself. He is one of those guys that treats his downline like trash, failing to realize that this is actually a volunteer sport that people do because they want to, not because they are forced to. Dick goes on every day pointing his finger at people telling them what to do, while all the while he does nothing. Dick isn’t very nice. And…Dick’s team is dwindling. Dick is experiencing team shrinkage. If Dick would simply smile more and be more kind, he’d realize that people would stay.

#7 Crossline Chrissy: Poor girl thinks she is God’s greatest gift to network marketing and that her company is the only game in town. She goes around writing letters to people in different companies offering them a “spot” and a unique opportunity to take part in the greatest thing that has ever lived, putting all others down. She spends most of her time recruiting people from other companies rather than actually growing our profession, showing her true weakness. Instead of “lifting up” our space, she degrades it. The thing is, her company is actually pretty decent and she’d likely make a more positive and lasting impact on the world if she just focused on talking to people that NEED or WANT an opportunity, rather than stealing from someone else.

#6: Johnny the Jumper: Johnny is well-liked by most…at least for a while. He has a really great personality, but no patience. He’s actually pretty decent at recruiting, mostly because he’s fairly charming. Unfortunately, his fatal flaw is the inability to stick to something for more than a couple of months. After about 15 deals, Johnny’s friends no longer follow him. The last time I saw Johnny, he was making sandwiches in a Deli down in Orlando.

#5: The King of Whales: This dude talks all the time about “how all the whales are coming in”. He’s one of those guys that you NEVER ever hear from until he’s onto the next deal. Then…when he calls you, it’s like you are his greatest pal ever. You’re the BEST of friends, even though the last time you talked was nine months ago when he was pitching you something else. You’ve heard this so many times before that you can literally lip it…wait, here it comes, “Todd…all the whales are coming in.” I chuckle every time he calls.

#4: Blaming Billy: This guy is always talking about how his sponsor wasn’t good enough, or how the system sucked. All the while, every company he has ever been in, people are making money. It’s always somebody else’s fault and never his. Poor Billy goes through life pointing fingers and assessing blame. The best thing for him to do what be to go to the carnival and enter the House of Mirrors ride. There…yes, there is where he will find his answer.

#3: I’m going to make you…Rich: I’ve met Rich a whole bunch of times. Rich talks a lot…until he’s gone. Rich comes in and never listens because he knows it all, even though he’s never made a dime in this profession. He talks about all the volume he is going to create and how you’ll never have to work again a day in your life now that you have him in your downline. Rich was done the moment he opened his mouth. He’s cursed. I’ve met many Rich’s in my day and NONE have ever done anything.

#2: Paralyzed Paula: Poor girl is scared of her own shadow. Wants to make money for sure, but can’t seem to get out of her own way for even a second. Paula keeps looking for all the answers even though she’s already been given access to all of them. Paula keeps calling you asking for help, even though you’ve given it to her time and time again, and even offered to make calls with her. She starts calling around to others on the team asking for help, insinuating that you’re not willing to assist. Interesting girl. Have you met her?

#1 Reinventing Rhonda: She saved up her money for almost two years to join YOUR team. She’s so excited to “finally” be working with you and to follow your lead. Bummer though. She won’t listen to jack. She knows you’re a leader in the business and that you have a long and proven track record of success, but she’s going to do it “her” way, all the while “saying” she is teachable. Then…she gets mad at you two months into the deal because you have stopped returning her calls. She hasn’t done ONE thing you suggested. She didn’t go to the training site, hasn’t attended an event, isn’t going to conference, and hasn’t event talked to one person in her warm market. Now…in her mind, it’s your fault. Crazy how things work, huh?

So…those are 10. There are more, but since I talked about 10 in this post, I will keep it there. Do you know any of these people?? Ever had the pleasure of working with them?

Busy Body

Its such a great feeling that my days are being filled up and enjoyed productively. So many thing have already happened the past 7 days that its a challenge  to start in blogging it =)

I just cant wait to start sharing all ideas, views, learning and the great sights that i have experienced these past days.

There was the historical trip to Bataan and corregidor islands where i was overwhelmed by the "dambana of kagitingan" among other sites and relics. That was a 2 day trip that unfortunately i didn't have the change to bring my laptop due to accessibility in the places were going anyway.
There was the skills workshop that i have attended where it was refreshing experience and in away an eye opener. An overnight workshop, where sleep is not a concern in a good way plus i was able to meet new friends and acquire new if not skills i already knew but didn't realize was there. Oh! not to mention a 6 hour activity that..well dumbfounded me from the start. Typical analysis paralysis syndrome .

and tomorrow! another event to be graced by the Ms Earth Candidates not to mention my original schedule of topics to blog.

How time flies when your having FUN! I wonder who i can take to meet the Ms Earth Candidates  tomorrow? =)
